Starting with the retail, hospital/health care, and construction industries, then onto civil and industrial arenas, our goal is and has always been to help businesses improve overall by instituting a contoured policy for safeguarding the life, health and safety of employees and visitors alike.

Every year a vast amount of money is spent by companies in various industries in order to ensure the health and safety of anyone who could be affected by their works. Training is provided, supervision is available, health and safety managers are employed, and management systems are implemented in order to protect us all. In addition there is a huge amount of reading material available in textbooks, manuals, approved codes of practice and on websites to name a few.

Despite all this investment it is still reported that large numbers of people die or are injured every year. Over the last 20 years an average of 100 people per year died while working in the construction industry alone. The U.S. labor force survey shows that million's of working days are lost yearly within construction due to injury or ill health.

With the amount of information available today and the way it is communicated does not assist us to cope with this challenge. Many employers and employees feel weighed down with the amount of information available and feel frightened by the responsibilities posed by Health and Safety. This is not a surprise to us. We believe that if the correct information was better communicated and easier to access EH&S overall would certainly improve.

With this in mind JIC Consultants LLC is committed to ensure that no matter what occupation, our clients are able to obtain accurate, affordable trainings, and summaries of information updated on an ongoing basis and available by client preference; through classroom, internet, and/or onsite trainings, as well as purchased monthly Health & Safety packages.
